On the one side, IRONMAN – annual triathlon race that takes the athlete to the edge of physical and mental condition -; on the other, Track&Field – sportswear company renowned for its concern in contributing with the high performance of athletes. A single encounter of these two sports exponentials was enough for the advent of a new line of running shoes, "IRONMAN - designed by Track&Field".

During the entire process of creation of the collection, which took three years, the commitment with performance was a must. Proposals favoring only the commercial aspects were avoided, and those really focusing on performance were given priority.

The "ENERGY LAB" philosophy, which has as principle to provide better use of the athlete’s energy, instead of simply "buffering" it, guides the process of technological development of the products. The inspiration for the design came from the very source of IROMAN - Hawaii. Among lava and volcanoes, tennis VOLCANO, KAILUA, OAHU, and MOHAI were created. The model Racing HAWAII is a special edition for the 30th anniversary of IRONMAN, available at the stored in November, inspired in a cycling helmet, with its air vents and liquid runoffs.
IRONMAN products developed by Track&Field are available in more than 250 sale spots in Brazil, and have been object of excellent critiques by the press.  North-American magazine TRIATHLETE MAGAZINE wrote on Kona and Volcano shoes: "It's one of the most responsive shoes we've tried". Brazilian magazine TRI SPORT MAGAZINE provided the following evaluation: "The best cost-benefit on the market." These positive comments are the result of a serious work, carried out with the commitment of constant technological innovation for the athlete.
